Consultant in AAALAC Accreditation and Reproductive Toxicology

The Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC International) is a private, nonprofit organization that promotes the humane treatment of animals in science through voluntary accreditation and assessment programs. AAALAC accreditation demonstrates a company's commitment to responsible animal care and use. Accreditation is a process involving submitting an application and a site visit by AAALAC representatives followed by review by the Council on Accreditation. It is important to follow the rules of accreditation and that the laboratory be designed and operated properly. I am an expert in this process having obtained three laboratory accreditations in the last two years. I will evaluate your laboratory and provide guidance for accreditation. I can also help you with your "annual report".

I am also an expert in the field of developmental and reproductive toxicology with more than 30 years of experience and over 80 publications. I can help you in the following areas:

  • Develop toxicology testing programs including study design and monitoring, data interpretation and draft report review.
  • Consult on critical issues and provide strategy and regulatory support during product development.
  • Provide on-site personnel training in developmental and reproductive toxicology techniques and procedures and peer review of fetal pathology.
  • Assist with selection, implementation, and validation of the non-clinical toxicology/reproductive software and vivarium design.

I have functioned at different levels ranging from study director to President in contract toxicology laboratories and pharmaceutical firms. I have extensive experience in the United States and China.
